As an original member of 70's supergroup Firefall, David Muse helped craft the unique sound that produced gold and platinums albums, as well as
numerous chart-topping singles. This success took them around the world on tours with acts such as Leon and Mary Russell, The Doobie Brothers, The Band (on their final tour before making their farewell documentary movie, 'The Last Waltz'), Fleetwood Mac during their Rumors Tour, Chicago, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Beach Boys and Lynard Skynard (frequently playing with them right up to Skynard’s terrible plane crash). As often happens to lots of great bands, the early 80's witnessed the unfortunate breakup of the original band.
Since the breakup of Firefall in 1981, David has performed with numerous other national and regional acts, pursued several solo projects and performed as a member of The Marshall Tucker Band for the better part of a decade. He occasionally performs with various members of Firefall and participated in a recent reunion show that featured most of the surviving original members.
In celebration of the music of Firefall, David Muse performs some of the bands biggest hits for private shows, concerts, corporate events, trade shows or festivals. The band is available as an acoustic trio or full band configuration to meet your budget. Book the David Muse today for a shot of true classic rock!
Booking FAQ
How can I promote David Muse of Firefall?
Bookings for David must be promoted as "David Muse of Firefall" and never simply "Firefall". As David is the only original Firefall member in his band, he doesn't feel right leading fans to think that they are seeing the original Firefall lineup. The music will be the same, only the name has changed.
Why wouldn't I just book "Firefall"?
You can, but you will not be booking the original band lineup. The band currently touring under the "Firefall" name has only one original band member, lead guitarist Jock Bartley.
